NM Tech Etscorn Campus Observatory breaks previous record, 104 objects imaged in a single night!

We have reached the limits of our equipment. The remaining objects are just too low. The C14 can manage a few more than the Takahashi as the main building doesn’t block it’s view of the eastern horizon, but daylight brought a long night of imaging to a close.

As it stands, the Etscorn Campus Observatory was able to image all but six of the 110 objects for a success rate of 94.5%, two objects better than I was able to do last year. – Luke Schmidt
