<p>Each Spring astronomy enthusiasts around the world test their mettle with the daunting challenge of observing all 110 Messier Objects in one night. Our twist is to image them &#8211; a much more difficult task, and everyone is invited to the party!</p>
<p>Saturday, March 24 2012, was an incredible marathon night.  Although we were unable to come close to last year&#8217;s (<a title="Messier 2011" href="http://messier.nckas.org/?page_id=1536">2011</a>) New Mexico Tech record of 104 of 110 objects, we did manage a respectable 44 to 60 objects by our imagers.  Click on the &#8220;<a href="http://messier.nckas.org/?page_id=1787">Messier 2012</a>&#8221; link to follow our progress.</p>
